Implementing safety during the busy spring season starts in January for most operations. Equipment is thoroughly inspected and serviced, facilities get organized, and employees receive operational and safety training.

The GROWMARK Foundation invested nearly one million dollars supporting agricultural initiatives.

Each year many hours of safety training and equipment inspections are conducted to ensure a safe season of applying Anhydrous Ammonia (NH3).

GROWMARK recently partnered with the Illinois State Police to provide safety training to independent carriers delivering products to FS retailers that focused on the safe handling and transport of anhydrous ammonia.

Fifty-four students were selected to receive scholarships totaling $2,000 each through the GROWMARK Foundation in May.
