During GROWMARK’s annual meeting held this week, Dennis Neuhaus from Hoyleton, Illinois, was elected as the new board president of the GROWMARK board of directors. Additionally, Jason Balding from Albion, Illinois, has been elected as the interlocking state Farm Bureau board member on the GROWMARK board of directors. Both individuals will begin their terms on the GROWMARK board of directors immediately.

Cooperative Ventures has announced an investment in OpenTug, an AI-native logistics technology company transforming inland and coastal marine transportation. Cooperative Ventures, a joint venture between CHS Inc. and GROWMARK, focuses on investing in agtech startups and developing mutually beneficial commercial relationships between startups and cooperative partners that deliver long-term value for farmers, cooperatives and the broader agricultural supply chain.

GROWMARK, Inc. announced that its Chairman of the Board and President, Kevin Malchine, will transition from his current role as Chairman and President while continuing to serve the last year of this three-year term on the GROWMARK Board of Directors as a standard board member. The GROWMARK Board will select the next Chairman of the Board and President following the August Annual Meeting.

Fifty-five students have been selected to receive scholarships totaling $2,000 each through the GROWMARK Foundation.

The GROWMARK System will welcome a new class of 86 interns for the summer of 2026, starting  May 18. Through a competitive application process, interns were selected for placement in two different internship programs within the GROWMARK System.
