GROWMARK, Inc. announced today it has acquired full ownership of Imperial Valley Terminal, a grain terminal located along the Illinois River in Havana. GROWMARK and CHS have jointly owned the facility, also known as CHS Havana, for several years.
Lakeside Grain Trading LLC will manage the port's grain operations, while Sunrise FS will continue to operate the facility’s agronomy and energy assets. Both companies are wholly owned by GROWMARK, Inc.
Imperial Valley Terminal is an important delivery point for farmers and commercial grain companies, providing access to export markets and supporting the efficient import of crop nutrients. Full ownership will allow GROWMARK to streamline operations, expand the high-volume facility and serve a growing customer base.
